Questions people ask · Choosing
How do you choose the best limo service in Montréal?
The best limo service is the one that passes seven checks: it can show its authorization for paid passenger transport, it is insured for it, it gives a fixed price in writing, it has many recent reviews, it shows the actual vehicles, it states its waiting and cancellation rules, and a person answers the phone. Ignore "#1" claims; check these instead.

The seven checks
- 1. Authorization. Paid passenger transport in Québec needs a qualified driver and an authorized vehicle. CTQ. Be wary of anyone claiming a "grand luxe limousine permit": that permit system ended in 2020.
- 2. Airport pickups. Since the 2023 changes to Québec's passenger transport law, trips that start at the airport require the airport's authorization. Source · Radio-Canada
- 3. Insurance. A company serving corporate clients can send a certificate naming your company as additional insured. Ask for it.
- 4. A fixed price in writing, taxes stated, before you pay.
- 5. Reviews. Look at the number and the dates, not only the stars. Read the 3-star ones.
- 6. Real vehicles. Photos of their own fleet, not stock images only.
- 7. A person answers. Call once before you book. That's who you'll reach when a flight is late.

Should I book a limo through an app or directly?
Booking directly with a local company usually means one contact for changes and the same team on the day. Apps and global platforms often pass the job to a local operator anyway.
How far ahead should I book?
For an airport transfer, a day ahead is comfortable. For Grand Prix weekend, holidays and weddings, book weeks ahead: cars sell out.
